SigNoz

SigNoz is open-source observability platform, used for APM Data Insights & BI . SigNoz is an open-source observability platform native to OpenTelemetry with logs, traces and metrics in a single application.

Prepare​

When referring to this document to use SigNoz, please read and ensure the following points:

  • Login to Websoft9 Console and find or install SigNoz:

    • Go to My Apps listing applications
    • Go to App Store installing target application

  • This application is installed by Websoft9 console.

  • The purpose of this application complies with the MIT open source license agreement.

  • Configure the domain name or server security group opens external network ports for application access.

Getting started​

Initial setup​

  1. When completed installation of SigNoz at Websoft9 Console, get the applicaiton's Overview and Access information from My Apps

  2. Complete the install wizard step by step

Monitoring Application​

  1. Compose SigNoz Application, edit the docker-compose.yml file to map the otel-collector ports to the external network

  2. Integrate the OpenTelemetry SDK into your application

  3. Configure the OTLP exporter to point to

    • gRPC: http://yourip:4317
    • HTTP: http://yourip:4318
